Atmospheric corrosion of metals. Effect of meteorological and pollution parameters | Corrosión atmosférica de metales. Efecto de parámetros meteorológicos y de contaminación

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan los datos de corrosión anual (primer año) obtenidos para el acero al carbono, zinc, cobre y aluminio en atmósferas rurales (no contaminadas) y su dependencia de factores meteorológicos tales como la temperatura, humedad relativa y tiempo de humectación de la superficie metálica. También se analizan los datos de corrosión anual para aquellos metales de referencia en atmósferas monocontaminadas por SO2 (urbanas, industriales) o Cl- (marinas puras) y su dependencia de la concentración de SO2 o salinidad atmosférica. Los datos han sido obtenidos en el proyecto “MICAT” (Mapas de Iberoamérica de Corrosión Atmosférica) y se comparan con los obtenidos en el programa colaborativo “ISOCORRAG” de ISO/TC 156 WG4, realizado con fines de normalización de los ensayos de corrosión atmosférica.
