Abstract

[EN]A comparative study of production (dry matter) is done to family genus, and species level with 46 pasture species cultivares: Trifolium pratense, Trifolium repens, Trifolium fragiferum, Festuca arundinacea, Dactylis glomerata, Lolium multiflorum and Lolium perenne. The media results obtained along the controlled three years show that only Trifolium pratense and Trifolium repens cultivares have surpassed the 1.200 g/m2 of Dm; the rest lie between 400-900 g/m2 of Dm. Yielding differences are very obvious running from under 400 g/m2 of DM to over 1.500 g/m2 of DM, thus being of 74.5% to a family level; of l00.5% between genera; of 193.5% between species; and of 291% between cultivar. Likerwise differences superior to a 50% may be reached between cultivares of a same specie.
