Abstract

El expurgo en la biblioteca es un manual que analiza detenidamente el proceso de expurgo o de revisión de las colecciones proponiendo una metodología de trabajo, que incluye la reflexión previa sobre las colecciones, los motivos del expurgo y el objetivo que se desea conseguir; un modelo de proceso técnico experimentado ya en bibliotecas francesas; y la evaluación de los resultados obtenidos.
