Abstract

En la dirección /galeria/visita.htm el Servidor de Información de la Red de Bibliotecas del CSIC ofrece una visita virtual por las instalaciones de las cien bibliotecas de la Red. En el mismo lugar, también podemos acercarnos a los archivos, lo que constituye una novedad destacable. La Visita virtual por los archivos de la Red es una guía que reúne unos archivos y fondos documentales poco corrientes, testimonio de la actividad científica de distintas instituciones del CSIC tan significativas como el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales o el Real Jardín Botánico; y testimonio también de las investigaciones de personajes tan dispares como Santiago Ramón y Cajal y José Luis López Aranguren; Francisco Rodríguez Marín y Marcos Jiménez de la Espada o la colección de documentos medievales de Claudio Sánchez Albornoz. Se trata de una primera aproximación al patrimonio documental que conserva el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas.
