I. Leguminosas

Abstract

[EN]In this paper existing correlations between concentrations of N, P, K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu y Zn in three forage species (Medicago sativa "Europe FD-100, Trifolium pratense "commercial" and Trifolium repens "C.P.I. 19434") are studied. In these primary growth was controlled for two years taking cuts every thirty days during the first year and cuts every ten day during the second one. Correlations range from specie to specie and also from the first year to the second for the same specie so that only M. sativa offers common correlations for both years. Such variability, which shows, some unbalance between nutrients, prevents an agreement of the results between the different species and thus only two correlations commun to the three studied species (N-P, and Na-Mn) have been found in the second controlled period. Apparently the plants get a better nutritional balance along this year together with a higher adaptation to the environment where they had been placed.
