Abstract

El Instituto de Ganadería de Montaña es un centro mixto de titularidad compartida entre el CSIC y la Universidad de León a través de un convenio firmado en 2008. Pertenece al área de Ciencias Agrarias. Previamente su denominación era Estación Agrícola Experimental. Es en el año 1965 cuando adquiere el carácter de centro del CSIC. El núcleo originario de la biblioteca son los fondos bibliográficos de los tres departamentos que estaban en la Facultad de Veterinaria: Praticultura, Zootecnia y Parasitología.
