Abstract

A través del análisis de varios documentos inéditos relativos a doña Isabel de Bobadilla y Cabrera, marquesa de Cañete, y, particularmente, del inventario de los bienes que tenía en Santiago en el momento de su muerte en 1514, profundizamos en el conocimiento de los distintos ámbitos de la vida de esta interesante dama de la nobleza conquense, enormemente preocupada por su proyección pública y estrechamente vinculada a la corte de los Reyes Católicos.

Este trabajo ha sido realizado en el marco del proyecto de investigación “Cultura e identidades urbanas en la Castilla Moderna, su producción y proyecciones” (HAR 2009-13508-C02-02, subprograma HIST) del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad y financiado gracias a una beca de Formación del Profesorado Universitario concedida por el Ministerio de Educación
