[EN] The morphology of the twins obsreved in the metarnorphic chalcopyrites from the Vall d'hran (Lérida, Spain) is described. Twins are of two types: 1. Linear twinning, produced by a deformation mechanism; 2. Irregular twinning due to an appearance of a polymorphic phase in the chalcopyrite. Their interpretation related with the metamorphic processes is carried out.
