Abstract

Este trabajo es una aproximación al conocimiento de la comisión que en 1810 el Capitán General de Cuba, marqués de Someruelos, encomendó a José Francisco Heredia, electo Oidor de la Real Audiencia de Caracas. Heredia es un personaje bien conocido en los estudios sobre el inicio de la independencia de Venezuela, una temática que ha sido extensamente tratada por la historiografía.

Este trabajo ha sido realizado como investigador del programa JAEDOC 2008. El libro está incluido en colección Bicentenario. Bucaramanga, Dirección Cultural de la Universidad Industrial de Santander
