Se presenta la obra de un autor navarro hasta ahora desconocido, Lucas José de Elizondo (1681-1736) cuyas obras se conservan en decenas de manuscritos autógrafos en una biblioteca privada. Se ofrece una descripción material de los manuscritos y un somero inventario de su contenido, que comprenden poesía moral, satírica y religiosa, cartas, obras autobiográficas, refranes glosados, ensayos, una traducción de la "Utopía" de Tomás Moro y un catálogo de su biblioteca.
