The relationships between chlordimeform adsorption and selected soil properties for 16 soils were studied by calculating simple correlation coefficients among Kf values, from Freundlich equation isotherms and the soil properties. The results showed that adsorption by soils was essentially dependent upon clay content and specific surface area. Chlordimeform adsorption-soil properties relationships were shown to be dependent upon the soil clay mineralogy.
