The use ofbasic salts of Zn, Cu, Co,and Fe as source of micronutrients for lettuce was studied in pot experiments. Their use resulted in better intensity ano quantity factors than those obtained with the corresponding chlorides or hydroxides. Better yields were also obtained when basic salts were usad.
