[EN] In order to generate 3D ultrasonic imaging, preliminary works have shown that apertures based on segmented annuli suppose an interesting alternative to reduce the amount of electronic resources associated to 2D-squared arrays. In this paper the acoustic field radiated by a segmented annulus is studied in order to evaluate its capability to generate volumetric ultrasonic images. Different aspects as main lobe resolution, side lobes and grating lobes are here analyzed.
