[EN] 3D imaging in the area of Non Destructing Testing by ultrasound needs of the development of 2D transducers. The imaging devices developed at the present make use of array rectangular arrangements of transducers. In this work the authors propose a new design of sectorial array transducers which goal is the reduction of the number of transducer elements maintaining a good image resolution. The design of the sectorial arrays has been made with transduction and acoustic field models implemented as computer programs. In the paper the construction and transduction and acoustic field characterisation of a 32 elements sectorial array is described.
