[EN] Loudspeakers with optimal performance within the frequency band (50, 200) Hz are looked for a multichannel Active Noise Control (ANC) inside a car. Since the space available in the car compartment is limited, it is hard to radiate such low frequencies with small loudspeakers within small boxes. A possible solution is to use vented loudspeakers tuned to this frequency range. The results of the optimization of the performance of typical car loudspeakers in a 12.8 liter vented box, based upon the MLS method, are presented.
