Abstract

[EN] The main objective of this work is to model the structural response and sound radiation of a simply supported beam, in order to design an Active Structural Acoustic Control (ASAC) system which reduces the radiated noise. The unidimensional model allows to obtain the modal response of the beam; the sound radiation problem can be solved by using the the Rayleigh integral. The normal modes are measured by several accelerometers along the beam and compared with theoretical results.
