[EN] The facies and thicknesses distribution of the Middle Cretaceous in the Central area of the Iberian Range let us to identify several thresholds, furrows and steps. These paleogeographical elements are probably related to Alpine movements with two main trending: NW-SE (Iberian), NNE-SSW (Catalanide) and two secondary trending: EW and NE-SW. Some of these facts lead us to question the Aulocogen model proposed for the Post-Hercynian evolution of the Iberian Range domain.
