Dispositivo para el crecimiento de cristales en contradifusión

Abstract

Dispositivo para el crecimiento de cristales en contradifusión (ver figura en archivo de texto adjunto). El dispositivo ha sido concebido para llevar a cabo procesos de cristalización macromolecular en los cuales la transferencia de materia se controla por difusión. La difusión tiene lugar junto con la cristalización en un dispositivo de geometría unidimensional (capilares). El dispositivo es una caja compuesta por un cuerpo de caja (2) y una tapa (3) ajustables. El cuerpo de caja (2) contiene una barra (4) en la que están perforados unos agujeros que sirven de guía para introducir capilares (5). En ellos se coloca la solución (8). En un volumen comprendido entre el fondo del cuerpo de la caja (2) y una altura determinable, se coloca un gel inerte (6) de forma que los extremos de los capilares (5) penetren en el interior de dicha capa de gel inerte entre dicha capa (6) y el extremo abierto de la caja se coloca un agente precipitante (7).
