Abstract

Procedimiento y dispositivo para medir la resistencia la hidruración de tubos y vainas tubulares. Consiste en medir la permeación de hidrógeno en tubos mediante espectrometría de masas, para lo cual se inserta el tubo en un equipo de alto o ultra alto vacío en el cual se encuentra un espectrómetro de masas y un medidor de presión total; por el interior del tubo se hace circular H2, o mezclas de H2 con gases inertes, a la presión parcial requerida; el tubo se calienta y se observa la aparición de H2 en el exterior del tubo determinándose su flujo a través del tubo y su tiempo de aparición, llamado tiempo de permeación, a partir de las de las curvas de permeación, determinando asimismo, el tiempo de aparición de la primera microgrieta.
