Abstract

La presente invención describe un procedimiento para modificar la composición química, viscosidad y/o densidad de un hidrocarburo con el fin de inmovilizarlo en contenedores hundidos o de transportarlo hasta la superficie, depositado en un contenedor en el fondo marino, haciendo uso de las propiedades que adquieren ciertos fluidos, denominados fluidos supercríticos, a las presiones a las que se encuentra sometido el contenedor a esas profundidades, así como un dispositivo para poner en práctica dicho procedimiento con el objeto de favorecer el cierre de grietas o fisuras de contenedores hundidos en el mar, entre otros, buques petroleros con hidrocarburos en su interior, con el objeto de su inmovilización y/o estabilización para impedir su fuga, o para transportar o bombear esta sustancia al exterior.
