[EN] Geography analyses the various factors that explain spatial patterns of variables that have a noticeable spatial dimensión. Forest fires include clear spatial implications, both for their prevention and the analysis of their effects. This paper explores the contribution of Geography to forest fire research and reviews fields of application reported in the literature.
