This object belongs to a group of bronzes with sacrificial motifs from Northwestern Iberia which can be dated to the end of the Iron Age or the beginning of the Roman period. The inclusion of this object within this group of bronzes and the information they provide for the study of sacrifical rituals in the Northwest of the Iberian Peninsula are discussed.
