Hydroxytyrosol ethers

Abstract

[ES] Éteres de hidroxitirosol derivados de alcoholes grasos y compuestos fenólicos del aceite de oliva y sus sales, solvatos e hidratos, que muestran afinidad por receptores cannabinoides tipo 1 (CB) y son capaces de prevenir la oxidación de la Lipoproteina de Baja Densidad (LDL) y de modular las acciones reguladas por el citado receptor, tales como la inducción de la saciedad, el control de ingesta y la disminución de la grasa corporal.

[EN] The invention relates to hydroxytyrosol ethers derived from fatty alcohols and phenolic compounds of olive oil and the salts, solvates and hydrates thereof, which have an affmity for type 1 cannabinoid receptors (CB 1) and which can: prevent the oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL); and modulate the actions regulated by said receptor, such as inducing satiety, controlling intake and reducing body fat.
