Pulsación diaria de la carga suspendida y disuelta en la escorrentía de fusión nival

Abstract

Se analiza el comportamiento de la carga suspendida y disuelta en una pequeña cuenca pirenaica (0,4 Km2) sobre flysch eoceno, a 1.800 m. s/M, frente a las fluctuaciones diarias de! caudal de fusión. Durante cinco días despejados, representativos de la estación innivada, se recogieron muestras de agua en varios puntos de la cuenca, para determinar un conjunto de variables físicas y químicas. Los resultados muestran que el pulso diario dobla e! caudal de base. La carga suspendida varfa de forma paralela al caudal, la disuelta, la conductividad, el calcio, el sodio y los nitratos lo hacen de forma inversa, mientras que el potasio y el fósforo total disuelto presentan un comportamiento variable. El sector inferior, cóncavo, de la cuenca se convierte en la principal fuente de sedimentos gracias a la saturación producida por el flujo hipodérmico
