Miniaturización de un espectrómetro Mössbauer: MicroMössbauer

Abstract

El objeto de la invención es un espectrómetro Mössbauer consistente en (ver fig.1 en archivo de texto completo) una fuente de rayos gamma (1) adosada a un oscilador piezoeléctrico (2) con una vibración longitudinal según el camino de los rayos gamma (A), un absorbente (3) y un detector de radiación de estado sólido (4) con un output conectado a un sistema de amplificación (5) y selección de señal. La salida del sistema de amplificación está conectada a un analizador multicanal (6) cuya señal de dirección es enviada desde una unidad de control (7) que a su vez dirige también la fuente de alimentación y controlador del oscilador piezoeléctrico (8). Otros componentes importantes son la fuente de alimentación de la unidad de control (9) y la salida del analizador multicanal hacia un PC para el posterior análisis del espectro registrado. La introducción novedosa de un oscilador piezoeléctrico y un detector de estado sólido permite reducir un 90% las dimensiones del dispositivo aumentando con ello las capacidades del espectrómetro Mössbauer para análisis de pequeñas cantidades de muestra y permitiendo en su caso la introducción del espectrómetro en criostatos para registrar espectros a muy baja temperatura y/o elevado campo magnético.
