System for determining ambient acidity and method for using same

Abstract

[ES] Se describe un sistema para determinación de acidez ambiental basado en sensores que cambian su color en función del pH ambiental. El dispositivo objeto de la invención pennite detenninar el pH de ambiente mediante el uso de unas unidades lectoras que hacen pasar una radiación por el sensor cuando éste ha modificado sus características ópticas a consecuencia del pH del ambiente donde se encuentra ubicado.

[EN] The invention relates to a system for detennining ambient acidity based on sensors that change colour as a function of the ambient pH. The device of the invention can be used to detennine the ambient pH by means of reader units that pass radiation through the sensor when the optical characteristics ofthe latter have been modified owing to the pH ofthe environment in which it is located.
