Limitador de corriente inductivo con secundario híbrido de metal normal y superconductor de alta temperatura como interruptor controlado por corriente

Abstract

Dispositivo de conmutación basado en un superconductor de alta temperatura crítica que actúa como interruptor activado por corriente y que utiliza la transición entre los estados superconductor y normal de un óxido superconductor de alta temperatura. En él se utilizan barras superconductoras de YBCO texturado conectadas a sendos terminales metálicos mediante soldadura sobre el área lateral de la barra, sobre la que previamente se ha depositado plata. Los terminales conectan con la superficie cilíndrica de la barra de forma que la distribución de corriente eléctrica se optimiza, permitiendo un área efectiva de contacto superior. El conjunto queda estabilizado mecánicamente mediante el uso de un soporte de resina epoxi reforzada con fibra de vidrio. El dispositivo se conecta al exterior mediante terminales que pueden ser sujetados mediante tornillos a los conductores habituales.
