Abstract

Procedimiento de solidificación direccional de cerámicas presinterizadas de matriz TrBa2Cu3O7 en las que se ha mezclado de forma homogénea una cantidad adicional de Tr2BaCuO5 Y CeO2. Tras la fusión incongruente de la mezcla, se obtiene por reacción peritéctica y solidificación direccional barras y lingotes texturados superconductores con buenas propiedadesmecánicas y corrientes críticas superiores a 1x10^6 A/cm2 a 5K y 1x10^5 A/cm2 a 77K en campo magnético nulo. El uso de aditivos como CeO2 permite controlar el proceso de cristalización direccional debido a su influencia en las características de la mezcla semisólida a alta temperatura. Al mismo tiempo las características microestructurales finales de la cerámica texturada se ven modificadas en gran medida mediante el uso de dichos aditivos.
