Abstract

[EN] «Ossa-Morena» (Hesperian Massif) constitutes a sector from a «mobile belta, where precambian succession of material a is quite complex and considerably thick, with important unconformities here included. Regional Precambrian kno-wledge evolution is considered in this paper (including the more important controversies and updated views of the problem). A stratigraphical log grouping three different great assemblage, «Beturian», «Mcudian» and «Uppermost Precambrian», is proposed. Each assemblage here described represcnts different events; available data from fleid studies allow us separate «unconformity -bounded units», tectosedimentary cycles, and lithostratigraphical units. Ten lithostratigraphical units are considered (at a «formation» level according to Precambrian usage). Lately, an attemp in correlating to other «mobiles belts» of similar evolution is made. Six episodes are clearly differenciated in the geological history of the studied area from archean epoch tul Lower Cambrian.ifer
