Análisis del comportamiento de los materiales de revestimiento interior en caso de incendio

Abstract

[ES] Los incendios en edificaciones sucedidos en nuestro país en los últimos años con un número de víctimas importante son origen de creciente preocupación social. Entre los efectos que se suelen citar como causa de incendios con víctimas mortales está el comportamiento de los revestimientos interiores de los espacios. Esta proliferación de incendios indica la necesidad de una revisión de la normativa existente a aplicar en los proyectos para evitar estas situaciones y minimizar daños personales y materiales. Los materiales empleados para revestir superficies interiores, suelos, paredes y techos pueden contribuir, dependiendo de su naturaleza y características, a agravar el peligro de inicio y desarrollo de un incendio. En este estudio se pretende analizar el comportamiento de diversos materiales de revestimiento interior según distintas composiciones de fachada en el caso de un incendio real para intentar arrojar luz sobre esta problemática.

[EN] Fires in buildings occured in our country in the last years with an important number of victims are an origin of increasing special consideration. One of the effects that are in ussually mentioned as reason of fires with mortal victims is the behavior of the interior coatings of the spaces. This proliferation of fires indicates the need of a review of the existing regulation to apply in the projects to avoid these situations and to minimize physical and material injuries. The materials used to re-dress interior surfaces, floors, walls and roofs can contribute to increase the danger of beginning and development of a fire, depending on their nature and characteristics. This study tries to analyze the behavior of diverse materials of interior coating according to different compositions of external walls in case of a real fire to try to shed light on this issues.
