[EN] The lithostratigraphy of the upper facies of the Muschelkalk in the studied area («barra carbonatada superior of the Mediterranean Triassic according to VIRGILI et al., 1977) is very similar to that existing in almost alí the Iberian Range. The units, which have been defined in this area («Dolomías basales» and «Dolomías y Margas Superiores» according to ARRIBAS 1985) can be compared to those described by HINKELBEIN (1965) for the castillian branch («Capas dolomíticas» and "Capas de Royuela”, respectively).
