Naturaleza, origen y distribución de los minerales de la arcilla en la Cuenca Triásica (Keuper) del área de Valencia.

Abstract

[ES] Se realiza un estudio mineralógico y petrogenético de las lutitas del Keuper en relación con su litoestratigrafía (ORTI, 1974) en la región de Levante. Los datos obtenidos se comparan con los de otras áreas de la Cordillera Ibérica, así como con otras cuencas europeas. Se ha establecido una evolución de asociaciones mineralógicas de muro a techo y de O a E que indica un incremento de las condiciones de hipersalinidad en este sentido. La abundancia de cuarzo, feldespato y micas detríticas en las unidades basales y en la zona O, así como la existencia de la asociación magnesita-corrensita en la zona E (figs. 3, 4 y 10) refleja la evolución anteriormente citada.;

[EN] A mineralogical and petrogenetic study of the Keuper lutites in relation to its lithostratigraphy (ORTI, 1974) in the region of Levante is done. The results are compared with other areas of the Iberian Range, as well as with other European basins. An evolution of the mineralogical associations from bottom to top and from W—*E is established indicating an increase of the hipersalinity along this trend. The high contents of quartz> feldspars and detrital micas in the lower units and in the western zone, and the presence of magnesite-corrensite in the eastern zone (figs. 3, 4, 10) demonstrates the evolution described.
