Abstract

[EN] This paper proposes some guidelines to rethink Landscape Archeology as the study of social and symbolic dimensions of past human spaces. Further on, the text considers two themes: the interpretration of Archeological Record through Landscape Archaeology and the application of Landscape Archaeology to the management of Archaeology Heritage. Both themes are deeply extended and exemplified by the papers of this volume, organised in two parts. Therefore, the whole volume is a result and an example of the theoretical and practical work carried on Archaeology by the University of Santiago Research Unit on Landscape Archeaeology
