[ES]Se estudia la catena de suelos forestales existente en un corte transversal al Valle del río Jerte. Dichos suelos se caracterizan por poseer una textura gruesa, notable acidez, bajo contenido en agua útil, alta permeabilidad y formas de humus dominantemente "mul forestal". No obstante, se observa que la acción antropozoógena ha sido intensa en esta Comarca, por lo que algunos subtipos de tierras pardas han sido profundamente transformados.
[EN]The soil catena of the eastern slope of the El Jerte Valley is studies. It is concluded that these soil are coarsely textured, and acid and they have a low content in available water and "forest mull" as humus form. The dominant soil unit is different sorts of brown earth, more o less improved by the human action.
