[ES] En este trabajo se analizan algunos aspectos estructurales relacionados con la modernización de los regadíos del valle del Ebro. La discusión se centra en los problemas planteados por la estructura de la propiedad, los sistemas de riego y las redes de distribución. Se aportan datos del estudio de algunos proyectos de riego para ilustrar la discusión. Los aspectos estructurales tienen una gran importancia en la modernización de los regadíos, aunque la mejora del manejo del riego debe ser abordada al mismo tiempo. [EN] In this work we analyse some structural aspects related to the modernisation of the irrigation projects in the Ebro Valley. The discussion focuses on the problems derived from the structure of land tenure, the irrigation systems and the distribution network. Results from the study of a few irrigation projects are supplied to illustrate the discussion. Structural aspects are of great relevance to irrigation modernisation, but at the same time it is very important to improve the standards of irrigation management.
