Abstract

Utilización del eritrodiol para la preparación de un medicamento inductor de muerte por desarraigo en células malignas de tumores sólidos. Eritrodiol como agente quimioterapéutico contra el cáncer. El eritrodiol, también llamado Olean-12-ene-3beta,28-diol, es un alcohol triterpenico aislado de la cutícula y las hojas del olivo. El objeto de la invención es la aplicación farmacológica del eritrodiol como agente inductor de "anoikis" o muerte por desarraigo en tumores sólidos. Esto hace que el eritrodiol sea útil como agente quimioterapéutico antineoplásico, particularmente frente a astrocitoma humano.
