Procedimiento de activación microbiológica en la fijación de nitrógeno

Abstract

Un procedimiento en el que a partir de cultivos celulares de microorganismos fijadores de nitrógeno se cultivan en incubadoras orbitales utilizando como sustrato un medio de cultivo, que contenga una concentración salina y un azúcar, al que se añade hierro en forma reducida, alcanzando un pH de alrededor de 7,4, teniéndolo a una temperatura de al menos 30ºC, una velocidad mínima de 160 rpm y durante un tiempo superior a 160 horas. Otra alternativa es sumergir los cultivos celulares en el medio de cultivo durante al menos 50 horas y a una temperatura alrededor de 30ºC. Este procedimiento tiene las siguientes aplicaciones: cultivos de microorganismos de los géneros Azotobacter y/o de Azospirillum; para la biosíntesis de aminoácidos, tales como ácido glutámico, metionina y lisina; para la biosíntesis de proteínas; para la biosíntesis de alginatos y para la obtención de biofertilizantes.
