[EN] Both geologists and biologists have been pointing out the existence of mountain refuges uncovered of ice along the Ouaternary periodo According with this idea, the author shows a list of paleoendemic plants whích are very abundant on the top of West Pyrenean mountains. Surely, these ancient taxa have undergone a very long evolution "in situ" from the Prequaternary ages to the present time. A taxonomical, chorological and ecological study of endemic pyrenean plants always provide substantial data to Historical Plant Geography.
