Information was collected on the avialability of data to estimate reprodcutive potential on fish stocks in the north Atlantic. Information was collected on a totalof 53 stocks or stock complexes from both the Northeast and Northwest atlantic. A series of tables was compiled that provide an overview of the availability of basic information, evaluate the quality of the information and provide references to this information. The tables were not designed to include actual data , but rather to reference existing data and studies published in journals, reports, etc., or to identify persons who might provide information regarding data which may exist in national laboratories but have not been analysed or published. The tables provide an overview of the years for wich basic data are available, details on the collection and quality of the data, the existence of studies that estimate reproductive potential or evaluate stock-recruitment relations and references to the data and studies.
