Determinación de Tensiones Residuales Superficiales y en Capas por Difracción de RayosX

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se lleva a cabo una revisión general de la técnica de medida de tensiones residuales superficiales y en capas por difracción de rayos X. La primera parte trata de revisar los fundamentos necesarios. Se explican la dirección de medida y la profundidad de información en la difracción de rayos X para poder entender cuales son los espaciados que medimos. También se revisan las relaciones elásticas tensión-deformación para comprender como se relacionan estos espaciados al estado de tensiones presente en el material. La segunda parte suministra los detalles técnicos y los cálculos necesarios para medir bien la suma de tensiones en una superficie o bien la tensión en una dirección dada de la superficie. Finalmente se describen modificaciones para los casos especiales de capas finas y materiales texturados y se discuten algunas posibles fuentes de errores.
