Análisis genético de poblaciones de lubina (Dicentrarchus labrax L.) mediante electroforesis de isoenzimas

Abstract

La lubina que ha sido declarada especie prioritaria para cultivos intensivos en nuestro país y otros de la Comunidad Europea, existe una situación peculiar, en el sentido de que se dispone de gran cantidad de información sobre algunos aspectos de su biología y sin embargo existe una gran laguna en todo lo que se refiere a su genética. Es por ello que este estudio lo hemos planteado como un primer intento de aproximación a los recursos genéticos de esta especie, en un momento crítico de los inicios de su explotación en acuicultura, a través de la consecución de los siguientes objetivos: optimizar las técnicas de elctroforesis horizontal en geles de acrilamida y almidón, para el análisis de loci enzimáticos de la lubina; investigar la estructura genética de un stock cultivado mediante el análisis de una muestra del mismo; valorar el sistema de cultivo de este stock cultivado mediante el análisis de una muestra del mismo; valorar el sistema de cultivo de este stock comparando los resultados con los de las muestras naturales; y finalmente proyectar nuestros resultados en futuros programas de explotación de esta especie, basados en el respeto por sus recursos genéticos.
