[EN] By very shallow waters, app, is meant that part of the sea closer to shore. They are a part of the shallow waters region. The app limits most of the human activity in relation with the sea: industries, arid extraction, transport, civil engineering, sports, tourism, fishing, fish factories, archaeology, etc.., so the app, has become one important environment and its control is necessary. Under an acoustic point of view the app zone shows an important variability, of those parameters intervening in the acoustic propagation. This paper presents an operative definition of very shallow waters and analyzes the parameters involved, specifically how significant are, how they vary, and the steps to make their evaluation.
