La precipitación acumulada en la estación meteorológica del Observatori de l’Ebre (INM-CSIC-URL) durante el mes de mayo fue de 229.3 l/m2, lo que constituye el record histórico desde 1880 durante un mes de mayo. Otros valores destacables fueron 224.9 l/m2 (año 2002), 204.1 l/m2 (1957) y 201.0 l/m2 (1921).
