Abstract

La presente invención se encuadra dentro del sector agrícola y, en particular, en el control de plagas de insectos perjudiciales para las cosechas. Más específicamente, la presente invención proporciona nuevos emisores de sustancias semioquímicas, con velocidad de emisión controlada, útiles para el control de plagas de insectos en cosechas agrícolas, así como a procesos para su preparación. Un material para liberar sustancias semioquímicas que incluye un soporte y una sustancia semioquímica adsorbida en dicho soporte, donde dicho soporte es una sepiolita modificada que tiene una capacidad de retención de dicha sustancia semioquímica ajustada de tal forma que se obtiene una cinética de emisión controlada de dicha sustancia semioquímica, siendo dicha sepiolita modificada al menos una entre: una sepiolita sustituida en la que entre 0% y 40% de los cationes de magnesio octaédricos superficiales han sido sustituidos por cationes seleccionados entre cationes de metal del grupo IA y IIA y protones; una sepiolita modificada de superficie específica que tiene una valor superficial específico comprendido entre 80 y 600 m2g; una sepiolita compactada que tiene un grado de compactación y que ha sido compactada en combinación con dicha sustancia semioquímica con arreglo a una presión de compactación comprendida entre 0, 1 y 20 t/cm2; una sepiolita modificada en la superficie/peso en la quese ha ajustado una relación superficie/peso; una sepiolita modificada pluramente que tiene propiedades de al menos dos de dichas sepiolitas sustitudas, dicha sepiolita modificada en la superficie específica, dicha sepiolita compactada, y dicha sepiolita modificada en la superficie/peso.
