Un catalizador bimetálico para el tratamiento de aguas que contienen nitratos

Abstract

Un catalizador que permite mediante una reacción de reducción a temperatura ambiente, la eliminación de nitratos y nitritos en aguas. El catalizador está formado por la combinación de un metal noble y un metal no noble soportados o incorporados a la estructura de un soporte que, en forma elemental y anhidro, tienen la fórmula XYMgAl, en la que X es al menos un metal noble, Y es al menos un metal no noble, Mg es magnesio, Al es aluminio, formando Mg y Al preferentemente la estructura de una hidrotalcita o de un óxido mixto proveniente de una hidrotalcita.
