Se estudia el manuscrito Escorial Y.I.16, una copia ilustrada de los oráculos tradicionalmente atribuidos al emperador León VI el Sabio, de los que se consideraba que predecían la recuperación de Constantinopla, en poder otomano desde 1453. El copista del Escorial Y.I.16, Manuel Malaxos, copió tres veces más la misma colección de oráculos. Se analizan otros manuscritos del mismo escriba.
