[EN]: The research was carried out to verify how the growth and rooting ability of young self-rooted and cloned "Fragivento" olive plants, grown in hydroponic, can be influenced by nutrient solutiones at different concentrations and element ratios. The results point out that nutrient concentrations higher than Hoagland solution, used as base, have a negative influence on plant growth, decreasing the number of shoots and leaves per plant. The highest concentration treatment (69 meq/l) also significantly decreased the per cent of rooting and the number and root length of the cuttings. The mineral content of the various plant parts were not influenced by the different concentrations or nutrient ratios.
