Preparación de monoésteres de ácidos grasos

Abstract

En la presente invención se describe un procedimiento para la obtención de selectiva de monoésteres de ácidos grasos y alcoholes polihidroxílicos por transesterificación entre alcoholes polihidroxílicos, preferentemente glicerina, y triglicéridos de origen animal o vegetal (aceites de colza, palma, coco, girasol etc) o ésteres metílicos derivados de ácidos grasos que poseen entre 10 y 32 átomos de carbono. Los catalizadores básicos heterogéneos que se utilizan en este proceso son óxidos mixtos de un metal trivalente y un metal monovalente, óxidos mixtos de un metal trivalente y un metal divalente que se someten a un proceso de rehidratación previo a su utilización como catalizadores básicos, y alúmina impregnada con sales de metales alcalinos que tras su calcinación dan lugar al óxido correspondiente soportado sobre la alúmina.
