Difusión de la producción científica del IRI en acceso abierto

Abstract

El Instituto de Robótica e Informàtica Industrial (IRI) es un centro mixto de investigación CSIC-UPC especializado en Robótica e Informática Aplicada. La aparición de los depósitos institucionales Digital.CSIC y UPCommons, planteó la necesidad de crear una plataforma de gestión documental que permitiera a los investigadores dar de alta sus publicaciones en una única base de datos, a partir de la cual se alimentaran los dos depósitos institucionales de manera sostenible y garantizando la calidad de los datos así como su preservación y visibilidad en acceso abierto. El proceso de creación de la nueva plataforma de publicaciones IRI y posterior migración de la producción científica a los dos depósitos institucionales Dspace, conllevó la realización de las siguientes tareas:

la normalización de los metadatos en la plataforma de origen (intranet IRI); el mapeo entre los esquemas de metadatos de la plataforma de origen (intranet IRI) y los repositorios receptores (Digital.CSIC y UPCommons); el volcaje de ficheros en XML y MODS procedentes de la intranet del IRI a dos depósitos DSpace (Digital.CSIC y UPCommons)
