Proceso de hidrodimerización de aromáticos utilizando un catalizador bifuncional basado en zeolita USY

Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un catalizador formado por una zeolita USY ácida sobre la que se depositan en un determinado orden el(los) metal(es) hidrogenate(s), como por ejemplo Ni o Ni-W, y un metal noble, preferiblemente Pd o Ru. El catalizador es altamente activo y selectivo para la hidrodimerización de hidrocarburos aromáticos con 6 a 8 átomos de carbono en presencia de hidrógeno.
